She is a gynecologist with 20+ years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology, and she is also a clinical professor of biomedical sciences at University of California Riverside. A photographic artist and business consultant, she the owner of the The Image Maker Visual Communications and Girl Nurture; and founder of the non-profit organization Positive Image Network. Mother of six (now all adults) she mentors many girls and young women personally, and through her Let there Be Light photography workshops for girls and women.
