Have You Given Plenty of Hugs Today?
Hugging is a really simple activity, but can easily get overlooked in everyday routines…unless it is made part of your everyday routine. Research suggests that at least 4 hugs are needed per day for survival. 8 hugs are needed for maintenance, and 12 hugs are needed for growth. Sometimes it may seem easier to hug daughters at younger ages, because when some reach certain periods in adolescence they may seem to flinch or withdraw. Hug all the more. It’s really needed during this time.
Check your hugging barometer. Are you giving enough hugs to grow on?
